Private Equity News names Tommaso Crackrett as one of the Rising Stars of Private Equity 2026
Private Equity News has published its annual Rising Stars of Private Equity list in which it recognizes Tommaso Crackett, Principal at LGT Capital Partners, as one of 25 professionals under the age of 40 who are making their mark as potential future leaders in private equity. Based in London, Tommaso heads the firm’s co-investment activities in the UK.
Tommaso is responsible for originating, executing and managing co-investments and single-asset secondary transactions across the UK and selected European markets, while also holding global portfolio responsibilities. For more than a decade, Tommaso has played a central role at LGT Capital Partners in building and scaling the firm’s co-investment and direct secondaries strategies and is a key senior decision-maker within the platform.
Over the course of his career, Tommaso has led more than 40 co-investments and single-asset secondary transactions, representing over USD 2 billion of capital deployed. In addition to his investment role, Tommaso is actively involved in shaping the firm’s future direction. He is a member of LGT Capital Partners’ AI Steering Committee, where he contributes to initiatives aimed at enhancing investment processes, data-driven decision-making and technological capabilities across the organization.
