LGT Private Debt sells its majority stake in Geomines to MBO+
Entities advised by LGT Private Debt have signed a sale and purchase agreement with private equity firm MBO+ for their majority stake in Geomines, a leading French company in the assessment and mitigation of explosive threats.
Pfaeffikon and Paris, 30 June 2026. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Six-Fours-les-Plages, France, Geomines specializes in onshore and offshore survey and clearance, demilitarization and ammunition management, training and the dismantling of pyrotechnic plants. With approximately 80 employees, Geomines serves a diversified portfolio of blue-chip public and private clients in France and internationally.
Under LGT Private Debt's ownership and the leadership of a seasoned and committed management team, Geomines has undergone a significant transformation. In 2024, the company successfully acquired and integrated its main competitor, Eod-Ex, consolidating its leadership position in France. In parallel, Geomines has expanded its international presence by securing multiple contracts across Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, highlighting its recognized expertise in explosive ordnance management.
