LGT Capital Partners successfully closes Legato 3 at EUR 454 million
LGT Capital Partners is pleased to announce the successful closing today of Legato Euro CLO III DAC (Legato III), which reached a total of EUR 454 million.
Following the closing of LGT Capital Partners' inaugural CLO in September 2025 and its second transaction in January 2026, Legato III represents the third transaction to be conducted via the firm's dedicated CLO platform. Arranged by Deutsche Bank, it attracted orders from around 20 existing and new investors. The CLO features a 1.5-year non-call period and a 4.5-year reinvestment period.
Ilina Chen, Portfolio Manager at LGT Capital Partners, said: “We are pleased to have successfully closed our third Legato CLO today. We will continue to focus on maintaining the high quality of our portfolios against the volatile market backdrop”.
The Legato platform builds on LGT Capital Partners’ longstanding experience in the CLO market. Having invested in CLOs for more than a decade as both a limited partner and direct investor, the firm now manages its own European CLO portfolios, drawing on its expertise to navigate a range of market environments. Launched in 2025, the Legato platform utilizes existing internal capital allocations as well as institutional third-party investments.
