Finanz und Wirtschaft has published an article on the booming private credit market that features the views of Felix Janssen, Partner at LGT Capital Partners. According to Felix, there is strong demand from Swiss clients such as pension funds, family offices and insurance companies seeking to invest in this asset class.
The business and financial news outlet writes that LGT Capital Partners manages over USD 5 billion in private credit. It notes that the portfolio serves more than 1,500 borrowers, mainly mid-sized companies in Europe and North America. Felix points out that the majority of the loans are used to finance private equity acquisitions.
