Doug Coulter to speak at the HKVCA Asia Venture Capital Forum
Doug Coulter will participate in a panel discussion at the Asia Venture Capital Forum, organized by the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA), on 24 March 2026. He will outline how LPs are underwriting Asian venture capital portfolios and what key risks they are focused on. He will also discuss DPI, exits and liquidity in the region.
Doug will highlight how the strategic allocation to Asian venture capital has changed from a long-term institutional portfolio perspective, how LPs think about geographic concentration risk, and what gives LPs the confidence that a manager can ultimately convert portfolio quality into cash returns. In addition, he will share his thoughts on the most attractive markets in Asia Pacific.
