Clelia Zacharias named one of Private Equity International’s Future 40 Leaders
Private Equity International has published its annual “40 Under 40” Future Leaders list recognizing private equity professionals under the age of 40 who are making a significant contribution to the industry. This year, Clelia Zacharias, Partner at LGT Capital Partners, is one of the industry talents included on the list. She joined LGT Capital Partners in 2013 and plays a key role in the firm’s private equity team, leading the origination, due diligence and execution of US secondary investments. As of March 2026, she leads the firm’s San Francisco office.
With 15 years of experience in private equity secondaries, Clelia has led a broad range of GP‑led and LP stakes transactions and has contributed to more than USD 3.5 billion in transaction volume for LGT Capital Partners’ secondary funds. In the past 12 months, she led LGT CP’s investment in two GP‑led continuation vehicles and supported major LP‑stakes acquisitions and, in 2025, joined the Investment Committee of the firm’s global secondary fund. Clelia has also built a strong international network, including extensive engagement with investors across Latin America.
