Further to this, LGT last week received a "wholly commended" rating from Fuchsbriefe, which also ranked LGT as the number one bank in Liechtenstein. At the beginning of November, the Financial Times publications Professional Wealth Management and The Banker recognized LGT as the best private bank in Liechtenstein and gave it a "highly commended" designation in the sustainable investment category.
There are a multitude of banks, financial services providers and wealth managers. Choosing a suitable partner for financial matters can often be difficult for private investors, and test results from independent juries can serve as an important source of guidance. Renowned institutions such as Fuchsbriefe, the Handelsblatt Elite Report or the Financial Times publications Professional Wealth Management and The Banker have been evaluating the advisory services and product quality of international financial institutions for many years. This year, LGT once again received outstanding ratings from these reputable institutions.
“A place in the uppermost segment”
“LGT’s services are impressive, in particular for clients with a medium and long-term focus, as these demand a high level of stability for their assets – also with a view to the future and perhaps even spanning generations”, stated the Elite Report’s editorial team in its most recent test journal: “Die Elite der Vermögensverwalter 2016” (The Elite Among Wealth Managers 2016). The report concluded that LGT had achieved steady growth at the international level and that the resulting stability and security both of the country and the bank were a highly motivating example. “Clients appreciate this”, the report goes on to say. 150 readers, posing as new clients, tested the 134 institutions that were shortlisted from a total of 362 banks. Following a comprehensive analysis, 45 wealth managers were given a “commended” rating. LGT was awarded the highest “summa cum laude” rating by the Elite Report for the 13th consecutive year, and was designated as the leading private bank in Liechtenstein. “LGT holds a place in the uppermost segment, and is one of the best wealth managers in the German-speaking world”, said Hans-Kaspar von Schönfels, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Elite Report. According to Schönfels, the strong client focus becomes highly apparent in the advisory phase, and thus early on, and the bank provides outstanding service even to potential clients with a complex wish list. The verdict of the Elite Report: “Many providers in Switzerland, but also Germany, would do well to take this level of quality as an example.”
“A visit that was well worth the while”
LGT’s advisory services and products also recently received accolades from the prestigious Fuchsbriefe. At the 12th annual Private Banking Summit in Berlin last week, Fuchsbriefe gave LGT a “wholly commended” rating and designated the bank as the best provider in Liechtenstein. “A visit that was well worth the while”, wrote Fuchsbriefe in its most recent market test “TOPs 2016: Vermögen übertragen. Vermögen schützen” (Transferring wealth. Protecting wealth). According to Fuchsbriefe, LGT makes a solid, reliable impression. The client advisors impress through their ability to listen attentively, their clear communication, their expertise both in investment and tax matters, and their ability to accurately identify the fundamental aspects of the defined objectives and develop approaches by which to achieve these. According to Fuchsbriefe, LGT is the undisputed number one in Liechtenstein. A total of 89 financial institutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg were tested and evaluated by Fuchsbriefe this year.
At the beginning of November, the Financial Times publications Professional Wealth Management and The Banker recognized LGT as the best private bank in Liechtenstein and designated it as “highly commended” in the sustainable investment category. A total of 170 institutions from over 63 countries around the world submitted award applications to the Global Private Banking Awards. A prestigious jury composed of 15 international finance and business experts evaluated, among other criteria, the business and growth strategies of the institutions, their client relationship management and their product strategies.
Consistently meeting high expectations
H.S.H. Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein, CEO LGT, is pleased with the excellent ratings: “We are regularly designated as one of the leading private banks by independent experts. This confirms that we consistently meet high expectations and also fulfill these expectations long-term, which is evidenced by our continued high net asset inflows over the last few years. Our clients are very satisfied with our products and the advice they receive, and they trust LGT. An important reason for this is undoubtedly our stable ownership structure, which provides security and stability – characteristics that clients highly appreciate, particularly in money-related matters. We will continue to do everything we can to further develop our services and product offering on an ongoing basis in order to remain a long-term and competent partner to our clients.”
